Major Responsibilities

 1. Follow up the la**** technology trends

 e. Support SCM team to analyze important market, technology and policy trend in PV industry.
 f. Communicate with clients to clarify the scope of requested services and support deliverables.
 4. Support CEA’s Project Operation (PO) team on their QA work
 a. Support the special technical and quality requests of client projects and help PO team to customize the operation plan to deliver the best results.
 5. Support CEA’s Engineering Services team
 a. Provide ES team with the necessary technical consulting and assist them to analyze quality issues detected during their work at PV plants or onsite PV module inspections, helping them understand failure modes of PV modules.
 6. Perform any other special projects ordered by the Director of the Technology and Quality Department.

Basic Qualifications/Requirements


1. Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Science at a minimum

2. A minimum of 4 years of working experience in the PV module or PV cell manufacturing industry or in a Quality Assurance (QA) consulting firm specialized in PV solar

Major Responsibilities

1. The SCM Lead, Energy Storage will be responsible for leading and advancing CEA’s market intelligence, advancing key battery supplier relationships, and enhancing our client experience within the energy storage services practice. 
2. Secondly, the candidate will bring strong supplier relationships from across the lithium-ion battery supply chain to CEA. These relationships will be used to further advance CEA’s Supply Chain Management services and provide key insights to our market intelligence offering to support our clients.

This ‘Quality Control Engineer’ position is mainly responsible for coordination, reporting and daily execution of the company’s key strategic growth initiatives in the areas of quality control project. The Employee will draft documents and correspondences as needed, perform analyses, manage projects and tasks as required, and complete any other reasonable office duties deemed necessary by the project manager or described in the Employee Handbook. All work should be submitted in a timely manner and be of sufficient quality as is determined by the project manager. The Employee shall adhere to all rules laid out in this Agreement, the Employee Handbook, and otherwise stipulated by the Company.


Working Responsibilities

1. Coordinate quality control projects with clients and specified factories: 
a. Collect primary research in Chinese and English through manufacturer factory visits, in-person meetings, and over the phone 
b. Travel to local factories for quality control efforts during solar PV production process 
c. Manage production, sales, quality control, and related departments so as to ensure the timely completion of quality control projects 
2. Perform and execute quality control efforts in a timely and successful manner 
a. Collect and review project documents prior to production, including: IQC, procedures, worker qualification, reports/records, etc.

c. Ensure quality of all functions and related ****s according to EN/IEC 61215 and other related industry standard while at factory visits

i. Coordinate and assist internal team’s training, create training material (videos, documents), continuously communicate to internal team all important updates on training changes and distribute related training material.
j. Support management team to solve internal quality issues and lead internal 8D investigations.

Basic Qualifications/Requirements

1. Bachelor’s Degree at a minimum.
2. A minimum of 6 years of working experience in quality system maintenance at a manufacturing industry or consultant sector. 
3. At least one experience in independently establishing ISO 9001, or being part of a team developing ISO 14001, ISO 45001, SA 8000.
4. Very good to excellent written English and working level of spoken English required.
5. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications/Requirements

1. Registered at the National Register of China as an external auditor. 
2. Certification as an external auditor for ISO 17020 or SA 8000 is preferred.
3. Must have experience in audits for ESG (Environment, Social and Governance) and in general other environmental or societal audit items, similar to the ones included in IFC’s (International Finance Corporation) E&S Performance Standard.

Clean Energy Associates is seeking a talented, process-oriented, and self-motivated intern to support executive initiatives for the summer of 2020. As the CEO’s Intern, you will assist with initiatives related to growth strategy, internal team dynamics, and managing operational complexity. This internship position offers unique exposure to the marketing function of a rapidly growing, global based company. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to gain in-depth knowledge about the global solar PV industry through visiting solar manufacturers’ facilitates and working closely with a multicultural team of industry experts.


You’ll work directly with the CEO to execute initiatives that support the growth of the company and optimize internal processes including:

New market expansion strategy and product differentiation.
Assist with system process development to ease the burden of Executive and Personal Assistant tasks.
Take notes on management team, client, and competitor meetings
Communicate with key clients related to major projects across all service lines
Qualifications:

1. MBA students preferred
2. Demonstrated achievement in strategy or business-related coursework
3. 1-2 years of previous internship or on-campus work experience
4. Experience in solar energy industry or renewables energy industry is an advantage

Technical and Language Skills:

1. Advanced MS office skills, especially in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
2. Demonstrated track record of effective written and verbal communication skills in English

Language: native English, second languages such as Chinese (Mandarin) is preferred
Programming skills are preferred
