Sr. Quality Specialist’s Jobs, Duties & Responsibilities: Problem Solving Lead a team to investigate production non-conformance issues and quality trendsUsing A3 method in problem solving and 8D disciplineUses statistical methods, QC tools and basic 6 Sigma toolsEnsures six sigma tools are usedTogether with the team develop and recommends containment, corrective and preventive actionsInitiates and coordinates data collection Creates analysis reportsFollow up the closure of the issues Quality Improvement Conducts statistical studiesEvaluates applicable process statistics on critical areasRecommends application of the statistical method in applicable processesCollect and compile statistical quality dataAnalyze the compiled dataLead a team to recommends corrective and preventive actionsAnalyze data to identify areas for improvement in the quality systemFormulate strategies and projects for the prevention of process defectivesTracks projects Reports on projects achievementsPrepare reports to communicate outcomes of quality activitiesReviews project improvement teams and results Directs quality improvementMonitor risk management activities Customer Satisfaction Lead a team to investigate customer complaints and non-conformance issuesTogether with the team develop, recommend containment, corrective and preventive actionsFollow up shopfloor meetings to close customer claims Quality Trainings Identify training needs and recommends training interventions to meet quality standards Education and Experience Bachelors degree preferredCertifications an advantage including Quality Auditing, Quality Engineering, Quality Improvements, Six Sigma (GB as minimum)Training and experience in A3 problem solving technique or other Quality toolsQuality inspection, auditing and testing experienceExperience with implementation of corrective action programsProduct or industry-specific experience (small appliances/ coffee machine)Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office and databasesKnowledge of tools, concepts and methodologies of QA/ QC toolsKnowledge of relevant regulatory requirements Key Competencies Attention to detailCommunication skills - verbal and writtenData collection, management and analysisProblem analysis and problem solvingPlanning and organizingJudgmentDecision-makingcustomer service orientationteamworkLogical thinking Mathematical Skills Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference.
